“Zumba Fitness® is the only Latin-inspired dance-fitness program that blends red-hot international music, created by Grammy Award-winning producers, and contagious steps to form a “fitness-party” that is downright addictive.
Since its inception in 2001, the Zumba program has grown to become the world’s largest – and most successful – dance-fitness program with more than 12 million people of all shapes, sizes and ages taking weekly Zumba classes in over 110,000 locations across more than 125 countries.” (Zumba.com)
Sheena Martin is a licensed Zumba Instructor who hosts Zumba classes at Studio M four days a week. She also has a background in hip-hop, Tahitian, and hula dancing.
Tuesday 6-7pm
Wednesday 6-7pm
Thursday 6:30-7:30pm
Saturday 10:00-11:00am
Classes are based on a punch card system and run as follows: $60 for 10, $100 for 20, or $50 for 10 if you’re a student. (Drop-Ins are $10, but I’ll apply that to the cost of a punch card if purchased within one week of dropping-in).
And now she’s at the Centra!
Monday 6-7am
Wednesday 6-7am
(Classes are for Centra Members, and punch cards will not be honored. You can also pay for a Day Pass for $5 at the Front Desk)
You can contact Sheena through the site OR sheena-lynn.martin@email.wsu.edu OR 406-852-6111.
So, it is $10 a day if you attend more than one day a week? I just wanted to make sure!
What and where is the Centra?
The Centra is the gym at the Community College (I think the address is 2715 Dickinson).
Classes are $10 if you don’t buy a punch card. If you pay $10 for a class, then in the same week buy a punch card, I’ll just apply the money to the cost of the punch card. So if you wanted to buy 10 classes, you’d just have to bring me a check for $50 (instead of $60), and I’d mark two off the punch card so each class would only cost you $6 a piece. That way you aren’t fronting $70 for 11 classes in one week.
Sounds great! I used to do Zumba where I am from (although, it has been a WHILE) and I am so glad it is offered here so I can get back into it.
Yay! We will be happy to have you!
So, if I have a centra membership through the hospital the Zumba classes offered at the Centra are free?
Yep 🙂
